Born in Cairo 1985, Mohamed started playing violin in 1992. He studied his Bachelor of Music in performance in Cairo, then he got his Diploma & Licentiate from The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music London and Master of Music at the Hochschule für Musik Dresden and finally his second Masters in early music (Baroque Violin) at the Folkwang Universität der Künste Essen in 2017.

Mohamed played in the Cairo Symphony Orchester and Staatsorchester Braunschweig for a number of years. Now he is an active musician in many orchestras around Germany, in both modern and historical, as well as in chamber ensembles.

He studied violin making with Dirk J. Hamoen in the dutch school of violin making, and bow making with Andreas Grütter in Amsterdam.
In 2019 Mohamed started his bow making career in Braunschweig alongside his performance schedule as a violinist.
